2025年遊戲開發者大會，已於3月17日至21日在舊金山莫斯康會展中心舉行。雖然全球遊戲產業挑戰重重，GDC仍是激發創意與交流的重要平台，今年大會更首度推出「GDC Nights」，連續兩晚帶來融合電視、電影、喜劇、遊戲以及多元社群互動的盛宴，為與會者打造前所未有的沉浸式交流體驗。
　　The Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 was held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from March 17 to 21. Despite the challenges that the global gaming industry faces, the GDC remains an important platform for encouraging creativity and exchange. At this year’s conference, “GDC Nights” was introduced for the first time, offering a feast of television, films, comedies, games, and diverse social network interactions over two consecutive evenings, creating an unprecedented immersive exchange experience for attendees.

　　眾多精彩議程中，參訪成員特別關注「實驗遊戲展示會（EGS）」與「另類操作介面展（alt.ctrl.GDC）」。EGS匯聚眾多創意突破的獨立作品，其中養成遊戲《Consume Me》透過手繪漫畫風格及幽默描繪亞洲家庭日常，榮獲多項大獎；alt.ctrl.GDC則展示非傳統控制方式的遊戲，例如將遊戲介面安置於大型玩偶內，玩家必須將手伸入玩偶中操作，徹底顛覆既有玩法。這些大膽創新的嘗試，參訪成員們藉由會後分析及見聞彙編，分享予國內獨立遊戲開發者社群，期許多元的交流能拓展全新的靈感與啟發。
　　Among the extraordinary agendas, the visiting members were notably interested in the “Experimental Game Showcase (EGS)” and “alt.ctrl.GDC.” Experimental Game Showcase (EGS) brings together a multitude of independent works that feature creative breakthroughs. In particular, “Consume Me,” which has received numerous major awards, portrays the daily lives of Asian families in a humorous, hand-drawn comic style. On the other hand, alt.ctrl.GDC showcases games with non-conventional control approaches. For instance, game interfaces are embedded inside large figurines, requiring players to extend their hands into the figurines to operate them, which is a complete game changer. These daring and innovative endeavors enabled visiting members to share their discoveries with domestic independent game developer groups through post-conference analysis and observations. It is anticipated that the diverse exchanges will enlighten and inspire them.
