企續發展協會成立於1997年5月，會員企業體認追求經濟成長與環境保護兼顧的重要性及國際趨勢，不僅自身積極落實改善環境績效的目標，並支持協會結合企業力量推動環境保護及資源管理之理念與方法，以服膺實踐企業永續發展及提高國人生活品質之宗旨。
　　The Taiwan Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD-Taiwan), ROC was established in May 1997. Being aware of the importance and the international trend of the balance between economic growth and environmental protection, the member firms of BCSD not only take positive action to achieve the goal of improving environment performance, but also support the Council in uniting the strength of businesses to promote concepts and methods of environmental protection and resource management, so as to fulfill the objectives of achieving sustainable development in businesses and upgrading the life quality of its countrymen.

　　
　　本著企業永續發展協會所推動之議題能導入本會永續共生理念，該協會秘書長黃正忠先生及會友特於2009年6月29日造訪本會蟲洞，林俊興董事長及黃晉英秘書長於會中說明緣於氣候異變加遽，全球各地異象徵兆頻仍，祐生集思解決方案，並參與SB 國際會議向世人傳達方案引起國際重視，黃正忠秘書長並亟力邀請林俊興董事長至企業永續發展協會中演講。最後，林俊興董事長及黃晉英秘書長代表本會將常年會費新台幣壹拾貳萬元整交予黃正忠秘書長，期許該協會為台灣企業繼續努力。
　　Since the concern of BSCD is quite compatible with the concept of Symbiosis promoted by Archilife Research Foundation (ARF), Secretary General Huang Chen-chung of BSCD particularly paid a visit to ARF's Wormhole on June 29, 2009. At the meeting, President Lin Chun-shin and Secretary General Huang Chin-ying explained that since global climate change is getting more and more severe, abnormal climatic events are frequent all over the world. In order to find out solutions to deal with climate change, ARF participated in the SB international conference, which has caught international attention. Secretary General Huang Chen-chung also invited President Lin Chun-shin todeliver a speech at BSCD. At last, on behalf of ARF, President Lin Chun-shin and Secretary General Huang Chin-ying presented to BCSD $120,000 NTD for the dues of perennial membership, hoping BCSD would continue its efforts in benefiting businesses in Taiwan.
